系學會簡介

As an official organization with articles of organization, the Association of the Department of Business Administration can be viewed as an interactive communication medium for students. As a custom of the association, undergraduate sophomores are in charge of the operation of the association. The president and the vice-president are publicly voted by students of the department. Other members of the association are recommended by the president and the vice-president. This association comprises four divisions: activities, publicity, field & equipments and PR. Other staff members of the association are the secretary, chief of general affair and chief of sports. To pass down the experiences, inauguration ceremony and staff training activities are held for the handover of the association each year.

Activities held by the Association of the Department of Business Administration: The department association launches several large-scale activities each year; for example, the new students welcome party in September, the department camping in October, the Business Administration Night in December, the Business Administration contest and the singing contest in April, and the two-week program for the College of Business Administration (See the table below). In addition, our department association is also responsible for making the student contact directory and the department uniform, as well as for providing new students with important information about the school so they can fit into their new school life more easily. The department association requires about NTD 600,000 for the operation each year. The major source of the funding is the department fees from the students, but we also receive financial support from sponsored companies, the department's funding, and the Student Association of the school.

From new student counseling and new student camping to department athletic games, school athletic games, singing contest, convocation, and the annual alumni day, these activities held by the Association of the Department of Business Administration is supervised by the director, professors and teaching assistants of this department. The faculty members not only give us lots of superb suggestions and heart-warming encouragements but also provide us with plenty of resources; their contributions make the operation of the association smoother. We always receive nice feedbacks from our fellow students for the activities we planned and launched, and that is probably why we won the Excellent Student Club Award (Grade A) in 2007.
