免修資格規定

Waiver policy

在修習大一英文期間參加英文能力檢定測驗且測驗成績通過本校訂定的英文能力畢業門檻的同學，得免修大二英文課程。若此測驗由英語中心主辦，同學不須提出申請，若此測驗非英語中心主辦，同學必須在入學當年度第2學期的第11至第12週期間內到英語中心辦理申請，經核准後方得免修大二英文課程。
FENM students who fulfill the University’s English language exit requirement on an English exam hosted by the ELC during their freshman year are waived from SENM.  FENM students who fulfill the University’s English language exit requirement on an English exam not hosted by the ELC during their freshman year must submit an application to waive SENM between week 11 and 12 of their second semester of their freshman year to the ELC.

免修條件：

Waiver Requirements:

具備下列任一種證書者，得申請免修大二英文。

1全民英檢測驗 (GEPT)中級初試；

  GEPT Intermediate First Stage

2網路托福測驗 (IBT) 52分（含）以上；

  TOEFL iBT test score 52 or above

3多益測驗 (TOEIC) 550分（含）以上；

  TOEIC score 550 or above

4國際英語測試（IELTS）5級（含）以上；

  IELTS band score Band 5 or above

5外語能力測驗 (FLPT) 英文三項筆試總分 195分（含）以上；

  FLPT English score 195 or above

6劍橋大學英語能力認證分級測驗 (CMS) PET (含) 以上；

  Cambridge Main Suite PET or above

7劍橋大學國際商務英語能力測驗 (BULATS) ALTE Level 2（含）以上；

  BULATS score ALTE Level 2 or above

8安格國際英語評鑑 (Anglia Ascentis) Pre-Intermediate（含）以上。

  Anglia Ascentis Pre-Intermediate or above.

一、   申請對象：101學年度入學之學士班大一新生且參加非英語中心主辦之英文能力檢定測驗。

二、   大二英文免修申請表下載：申請表請洽課務組。

三、   所有大二英文免修申請者，請於4月29日至5月10日期間至英語中心辦公室（LAN106）繳交申請資料（含大二英文免修申請表及相關證書或成績單影本），並持證書或成績單正本進行驗證，以確定免修資格。逾期未辦理驗證者，取消免修資格。

All applicants should submit their application forms and the supporting documents to the ELC office (LAN 106) during the application period, April 29 to May 10 , 2013.

四、   取得免修資格者可免修大二英文，並直接取得共同必修外文領域2學分。

Upon waiving the SENM course, students earn 2 foreign language core course credits. 

五、 免修資格之確定，應於入學當年度完成。申請辦理以一次為限。逾期者視為自動放棄。

Students must complete their SENM waiver during their freshman year at Tunghai. Application may only be made once.
