免修资格规定

Waiver policy

在修習大一英文期间参加英文能力检定测验且测验成绩通过本校订定的英文能力毕业门槛的同學，得免修大二英文课程。若此测验由英语中心主办，同學不须提出申请，若此测验非英语中心主办，同學必须在入學当年度第2學期的第11至第12周期间内到英语中心办理申请，经核准後方得免修大二英文课程。
FENM students who fulfill the University’s English language exit requirement on an English exam hosted by the ELC during their freshman year are waived from SENM.  FENM students who fulfill the University’s English language exit requirement on an English exam not hosted by the ELC during their freshman year must submit an application to waive SENM between week 11 and 12 of their second semester of their freshman year to the ELC.

免修条件：

Waiver Requirements:

具备下列任一种证書者，得申请免修大二英文。

1全民英检测验 (GEPT)中级初試；

  GEPT Intermediate First Stage

2网络托福测验 (IBT) 52分（含）以上；

  TOEFL iBT test score 52 or above

3多益测验 (TOEIC) 550分（含）以上；

  TOEIC score 550 or above

4国際英语测試（IELTS）5级（含）以上；

  IELTS band score Band 5 or above

5外语能力测验 (FLPT) 英文三项笔試总分 195分（含）以上；

  FLPT English score 195 or above

6剑橋大學英语能力认证分级测验 (CMS) PET (含) 以上；

  Cambridge Main Suite PET or above

7剑橋大學国際商务英语能力测验 (BULATS) ALTE Level 2（含）以上；

  BULATS score ALTE Level 2 or above

8安格国際英语評鑑 (Anglia Ascentis) Pre-Intermediate（含）以上。

  Anglia Ascentis Pre-Intermediate or above.

一、   申请对象：101學年度入學之學士班大一新生且参加非英语中心主办之英文能力检定测验。

二、   大二英文免修申请表下载：申请表请洽课务组。

三、   所有大二英文免修申请者，请于4月29日至5月10日期间至英语中心办公室（LAN106）缴交申请资料（含大二英文免修申请表及相关证書或成绩单影本），并持证書或成绩单正本进行验证，以确定免修资格。逾期未办理验证者，取消免修资格。

All applicants should submit their application forms and the supporting documents to the ELC office (LAN 106) during the application period, April 29 to May 10 , 2013.

四、   取得免修资格者可免修大二英文，并直接取得共同必修外文领域2學分。

Upon waiving the SENM course, students earn 2 foreign language core course credits. 

五、 免修资格之确定，应于入學当年度完成。申请办理以一次为限。逾期者视为自动放弃。

Students must complete their SENM waiver during their freshman year at Tunghai. Application may only be made once.
